They claim to hate politics as usual but they also gave a resounding yes to keep the Congressional controlling party. So much of their proclaimed hatred for politics and politicians is bullshit. A lot of them just want people who look and think like them in office.

Because the GOP sells itself as the governing party that hates government and wants to end its role in your life. And they buy into that.
