Sure, but at trial, a coherent narrative can probably be put together to explain those calls.
- Frequent break-ins in the neighborhood
- Black youths observed or suspected
- Young children used as lookouts
- etc.True? Doesn’t matter. That is the case the defense will try and make if those calls are admitted.
I think it still assumes that being black and young automatically makes you a criminal suspect —they jury won’t buy that (hopefully)
