It is understandable that he is upset. His father died. That would make anyone upset.

Randomly killing men who just happened to share a visual feature (skin color) with the man who killed your father is not understandable. If the killer had had red hair, would that justify killing men with red hair? A beard? Freckles? Tall? Short?
