The GOP didn’t lose because of the 47% remarks.

The GOP lost because they lost touch with reality.

For some reason, voters tend to appreciate candidates with both feet on the ground. voters will swallow a lot of bitter pills if they believe their candidate is trying to deal with the problems they face.
