Again: the NRA argues that “guns don’t kill, people do!”

Which I can begin to accept to a degree.

But why do they think that the mere presence of guns in schools is suddenly going to radiate an aura of protection?

Guns can only protect people in public places if they are wielded by a trained, experienced professional with steady nerves, quick reflexes and a very sound sense of judgement.

Are these to become part of the standard skills set for schoolteachers and administrators?
