This may turn out different. There’s no way to sell these kids as any kind of threat—and it turns out they were invited. Of course the usual suspects will try their damndest, but maybe it won’t stick with the general public.

Call me crazy, but it doesn’t really matter if they were invited or not. This cop was acting so far outside of what we consider to be acceptable for a LEO that he should be manning a desk if he manages to keep his badge. I can’t imagine his superiors were overly thrilled when this video made the net and they saw him pointing a gun at two unarmed kids.
