You forget, dear sir, that there are millions of people that live in cities in those red states that, by and large, tend to at least lean Democrat, if not being Democratic strongholds (Nashville [where I am], Memphis, Birmingham, and Atlanta, to name a few).

The Republicans in my state already have apportioned districts to favor themselves and marginalized a huge chunk of its citizens; I’ll be damned if I’m gonna get it from the other direction too.
