The Rex Tillerson pick for Secretary of State made no sense to me, until I realized that there’s a potential deal in the works between Exxon and Russia worth billions.

This explains everything.

And it’s on hold because of the Crimea/Ukraine sanctions. Rex is a champin’ at the bit.
