One of my out of state holier than thou lefty friends when I posted my planned ballot for today talked about how the progressives are refusing to support Northam. I told him in a gentle way that would be a huge mistake given that Northam is A) significantly better than GIllespie and B) our state has a history of close races. I just don’t get these people. I mean, I can understand having a different preference in the primary- I backed Perriello and as you guys know spent many a Saturday doing campaign work for him whether it was phone calls or knocking doors but since Ralph won in June, he’s had my full support and I knocked doors for him too. I think they have no idea how to build real change and it’s a shame because there are a lot of important issues in this state and country.

Very similar to the right wing dudes in office. They have no ability to bring legislation to the floor, no sense on where and when to compromise and couldn’t work together to get anything done.
