Ah. It might be thinking too much. If it has a CPU fan remove that and the heat sink and clean up the old coolant paste (if there is any) and give it a new dab of coolant paste. Or something.

I hit my old laptop with some compressed air (another tip from here) and haven’t had a problem with it since.
