The organization in and of itself, while obviously ludicrous, isn’t the “problem.” It didn’t create its crazy followers, it’s just that crazy people follow and belong to it (see also: religion).

Just like the Tea Party didn’t magically create a whole cadre of racist right-wing morons, it just coalesced them into one name.

Yet the crazies get their information from somewhere. I’m also inclined to believe that those are on the verge of crazy are susceptible to the organization’s influence. I see what watching FOX news does to people —
