I don’t think those whites who voted for Obama and switch to vote for Trump would overcome the Whites who voted for Mitt going for the Dem candidate. I base it on Mitt’s own hatred for Trump and just plain disgust for Trump in the GOP. Add in what we’ve heard about increases in new immigrants requesting ballots and former non-voting Hispanics, Muslims, Asians turning out like never before.

There is going to be some major new wrinkles in this one. One reason I am not going to put a lot of my belief in polls this time. Too many new variables.
