They’re not the same thing, but that doesn’t mean that a political career ending pattern of unacceptable behavior can’t be deduced from multiple unacceptable incidents. We shouldn’t minimize problematic behavior and hypocrisy by only comparing it to rank criminality when our goal as a Party is to champion and exemplify principles of equality.

Making this about me, I don’t get the whole idea of going around and doing things like grabbing women, or giving “shoulder rubs,” or any other sort of thing. It’s not something that would even occur to me to do to anyone (man or woman) unless they asked me to first.

Driving to Scottsbluff yesterday, my wife and I discussed the MeToo thing going on now, and she notes that as far as she can remember, I’m the only man who didn’t do those sorts of things to her (and still don’t).

Did I come from another planet?
