Well, let’s see if they FBI did indeed find something serious enough to indict Trump with.

First comes the search warrant, the gathering of evidence.

Then comes the arrest warrant.

A lot of the legal takes I’ve seen tonight have been of the opinion that given who Trump is and how powerful of a magnifying lens is about to pointed at the FBI, there’s little chance that this was all a fishing expedition meant to see if they could dig something up. They know evidence of a crime is there, where it likely is, and waited until Trump was out of the state to prevent him from directly interfering or destroying evidence.
