In due course, the 2020 GOP derpularity will make the 2016 GOP clown car look sane.

There is no apparent way the GOP can even stop its ongoing degeneration into a party of fascist nitwits, much less reverse it.

You know, they would have had it made in the shade. There’s this large contingent of Idiots Low-Information Voters™ who think the White House should alternate between the parties because Magic Balance Fairy or something—We’ve had one 8-year Democratic administration, followed by an 8-year Republican administration, followed by an 8-year Democratic administration…if the GOPers could just have kept it in their pants, they’d have a very good chance of getting the cycle vote and winning. But they just can’t seem to keep it in their pants….
