Propaganda, lies are DESIGNED to be loved by (a certain audience) of people.

Real stories, truth, IS NOT DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE.

As such, it isn’t emotionally satisfying.
It isn’t addicting.
It isn’t clear.
It isn’t unambiguous.
It doesn’t make you feel better, often quite the reverse.
It doesn’t make you feel important.
It doesn’t make you feel better than others.
etc.

One should be very suspicious of stories that DON’T have these qualities.

If they seem too engaging to be true, they probably are.
