I keep seeing posts/twitters about how everyone hates Obamacare according to new polls.

Umm… do these polls break out specifics about what Obamacare is, or do they simply ask whether they know it exists and whether they like it.

Because if people actually knew what comprises Obamacare, those answers might change.

Obamacare includes eliminating provisions for preexisting medical conditions.
Obamacare allows people to stay on parents’ insurance to age 26.

Those two aspects required by the law help millions of people get insurance - and keep it.

The GOP has done an amazing job of obfuscating what Obamacare is and what it hopes to accomplish. It’s not without its problems, but the GOP doesn’t want to fix Obamacare, it wants to destroy it. Democrats who might want to see aspects fixed can’t criticize because it undermines the ability to sustain the program, even though there are things that ought to be fixed, modified, or improved.

It’s GOP slash/burn, and they don’t care about proposing new policies or improving existing ones. It’s about destroying Obama.
