Well, for just the heck’s sake, I checked ones by the airport and they are indeed sold out. The Super 8 had one room left. I live pretty close, so I will be staying home that day. MODOT said they are expecting 6 times the number of cars in 1-29 on the 21st.

Hotels in Casper, Wyo., were sold out months before. There’s an eclipse science confab meeting there that same week, and the convention had blocks of rooms reserved by the time I got around to checking out what was available.
