Bone dry, it’s a tinder box out there. Another fire broke out near Glenwood Springs, CO, but was quickly doused with a helicopter.

On this side of the Divide, at your elevation, we’d been getting thunder with rain for the past week thanks to an early monsoon onset (though our plants are as dead as yours because just about everyplace from here to Anymouse’s place got at least one major hail event out of it). It’s dry again here; did you get any of the monsoon storms last week?
