That is way cool - though I wonder if that tree whose stump let 57 people pose on it without undue crowding might have been better left alive.
But are the cloned saplings (however old the “parent” tree) going to be much/any different from current redwoods? I know giant redwoods’ lifespan can be measured in millenia, but are the new clones all that much different?
