A lot can happen between now and the election. During a lunchtime walk with my manager in the summer of 1991, he repeated the conventional wisdom that Bush 41 was a shoe-in after the success of our first Gulf War — none of the well known Democrats were willing to take him on. My reply to him was that things can change. Fast forward to November 1992 — my, how the landscape was transformed. Who knows what will be going on in November 2020, especially with Russian assistance?
