It has to do with people in the 25-45 age group having a strong immune system. The strong immune system, once infected with the virus, tends to turn against it’s self and causes a meltdown. So, in the case of the H type virus, it’s good to have a good immune system but not a great one. You don’t want to take immune boosters if you get this type of flu. It increases your chances of killing you.
That’s why the Spanish Flu (the 1918 pandemic) killed so many.
They had an overreaction to it.
