I admired her as a qualified candidate but never liked her in any sense…but democracy is not about voting for people you would choose, it is about choosing among people who are on the ballot…

My reading about her work exposing racism in Arkansas as a young attorney was pretty impressive and honestly I think she’s a success story. I liked Obama more than her but I definitely came to see why so many people like and admire HRC and I kind of resent the narrative that everyone disliked her. She actually did better than Obama in some places but unfortunately she regressed in a lot of areas too. Ironically those had been areas that she beat Obama in the 2008 primaries in. I liked 2016 HRC more than 2008 HRC. The former was a much more open-minded person and the 2008 one I think just played it safe too much on the trail and that’s why she lost in 2008 but won in 2016.
