Aside from me not being on LGF, Wonkette, or other sites, my day will pretty much go as always.

Read the news in the morning newspaper

— which, oddly, was not published today.
(the paper isn’t published on Mondays)

get cash from the bank teller,
— who tells you he can’t give you any because the “system is down”
(We have a passbook savings account, both my banks use written ledgers and we have a real passbook)

my finger still can work the dial on my telephone
— which can’t connect to anything outside local calls because the supplier of the supplier of your supplier went VOIP years ago.
(I think CenturyLink is still using two cans and a string)

Also, you’ll be luck if your electricity is working in a few hours.

(It takes that long for the truck to get here … after the last tornado we went without electricity for nearly a month)
