We have upped our likelihood of bugging out to 50-50. We’re leaving early, if needed, because we’ll have a light camper in tow.

d-Man—have you looked at the route that takes you to Dothan via rte 84, then North on 431? It gives you options to kick West at I-80 and I-20. Good, lightly used 4-lane most of the way.

I’ve made no decision (nor come up with any particular plan.) My go-to weather guy still going with his 3 scenarios, one (least likely) with it going off to sea; two, having it come over land from the gulf, slowing down, still dropping lots of rain; three, the “worstest,” having it veer to sea from Florida so it can pick up steam over warm water and smack the everloving shit out of us. He says it won’t be clear till the weekend, and will be here Monday or Tuesday (which doesn’t leave much time to get out of Dodge.)

Decisions. Decisions. I need to get gas tomorrow, and I guess some extra cash and foodstuffs. So far, the only preparation I’ve done is making ice and trying to eat stuff from the freezer.
