If I believed for even a moment that Franken resigning would have a positive outcome, particularly setting a precedent that both sides would heed, I might be supportive of the push for his resignation. But I don’t see anything positive coming from it, what I see instead is a precedent that will be set that Democrats will run any man who faces accusations of sexual misconduct out on a rail, while the GOP will continue supporting and electing sexual predators because they don’t give a flying fuck about anything but obtaining and maintaining power.

The midterm elections are not next week, they’re not even a month away, there’s nearly a year away. In a year’s time, there’s a shitload that the GOP can do to fuck this country over permanently while we conduct an inquisition of every man serving in the DNC.
