The most recent series of “Fargo” involves a company that, like the Trumps, had to borrow a lot of money in 2008 when the banks weren’t loaning.

(spoiler stuff below if you haven’t seen it yet)

So they borrowed money from a Russian-connected firm, and now that the money is due, the bank does not even want the money back, they just want a piece of the operations in order to use the company to launder money for them…
