The local chapter started a home fixing program, for current homeowners in need of serious repairs. They require citizenship in the US from their applicants. Name should be changed to ‘Habitat for Citizenry’, at least locally.

That’s a weird one, unless it’s driven by local banking regs. (Our no-interest notes are usually managed pro bono by local banks.)

Addendum: Some of our best volunteers almost certainly weren’t citizens. Construction trades, y’all.
