We wouldn’t have legal SSM because a McCain Justice Department wasn’t going to fight for that and nor would they repealed DADT. People wanted Obama to be this savior that he was never going to be but then they don’t appreciate what Obama in fact did do and that was with a right wing opposition that hated him and a left wing that was hypercritical of his every move when they felt it wasn’t enough for them.
