Tech Note: The LGF Pages Reboot

Just got back from early-voting in Fort Worth, TX. There wasn’t a line, but the place was a lot busier than I expected; about the same as election day 2010. The woman-friend in Arlington reported a long line yesterday.

And because some people (not necessarily on LGF) seem to be fascinated by such things: I didn’t see any UN monitors with jackboots and sharp Hugo Boss uniforms, eyeing people suspiciously and making checkmarks on clipboards. I also didn’t see any young black men wearing berets and sunglasses, polishing brass knuckles and glaring at Whitey. I did see a lot of old folks. They didn’t seem too threatening. I was careful to keep my eye on one woman with a walker, though. I probably could have taken her had the shit hit the fan, but I didn’t turn my back to her, just the same.
