New Quinnipiac Poll: Most Americans Think Snowden "More of a Whistleblower," but Still Want Him Prosecuted

If the NSA is reading literally every email sent every day, even flagging interesting words automatically and then remanding potentially interesting emails to actual living readers, (1) they fucking suck at it (2) it would require thousands if not tens of thousands of analysts. It would be really, really hard to keep quiet internally, with such a large fraction of the organization dedicated to this operation. Certainly if you grabbed thousands or millions of internal documents, you’d expect a few of them to at least hint at this.

And it’d be a monstrous stop-the-presses story. Torches-and-pitchforks sort of stuff.

I wonder, then, why we haven’t seen the slightest shred of evidence from GreenSnow that such action is actually occurring.

As usual, belief in the Big Scary Stuff requires the offending governmental agency to simultaneously be hilariously incompetent and far more powerful and streamlined and polished than any organization has been in all of human history.
