Using this type of reasoning is lazy; yes, you DO have to go through the study and evaluate it for yourself.

I’m not going to investigate every crackpot claim I see on the internet. Neither are you, it’s just not possible. When I saw the headlines about Nasa’s scientific proof of progressive superiority it wasn’t credible enough to investigate. Why waste the time? I don’t invest a lot of time looking into new 9-11 conspiracy claims either, sometimes it’s easy to spot to bullshit.
