Anyway, forgive me for failing to freak out. If the concern is keeping the extreme fringes from taking over the party, I’m not actually convinced the far left is organized enough to pull something like that off.

(Actually, that’s a lie: I’m fairly convinced they’re NOT organized enough, not to mention the whole “driven by pure ideals that prevent them from doing something so lowering as joining another political party that they disagree with on a few issues” thing that kept cropping up during this primary.)
