My father is in that industry and he is a reliable D volunteer and donor. My pops also points out to others in his industry when their industry does best (under D Presidents because the freaking economy is not torn asunder)

My dad’s grandfather was in the banking industry. Now neither my Dad nor me obviously knew him but he definitely shaped my Dad’s father and my dad’s father was one of the most liberal and open minded people. He was someone who very much frowned on the n-word(this was the 50’s), treated his wife as an equal, etc.
