I suspect the investigation will be long and part of me hopes that’s the case so we can start to dig out as much of the rot as possible.
Ideally we’ll have lots of indictments, jurisdiction-hopping revelations and good deals along the way.

Other parts of me, of course, want this wrapped up yesterday.

This rot in the GOP is much more than Trump.

It turns out that a party completely divorced from idea of the public good because of its long-standing servitude to plutocratic US interests can accommodate servitude to plutocratic foreign interests without missing a beat.
