while i understand the point, no need to go half way around the world:

there is no reason for police to be held to a lower standard than that applied to the very people they swear to protect and serve

if i’d driven a vehicle into a crowd of civilians as a Marine in Afghanistan, i’d have been sent to prison — and rightly so.

there must be accountability.
