wrong. I am an Iranian by birth. Persians consist more than 55% of the total population. Every one living within the Iranian plateau is considered an Iranian first and then his ethnicity might be of any concern. Vast majority of the people of Iran are pro-America to say the least.

I said it was a rough and ready tool. Learned it from a fellow from Tehran, a muslim by birth, who got out of dodge double quick when the beards started showing up. He said to me that after the revolution, anyone who copped to being “Iranian” was probably not to be trusted, since the Ayatollah et al gave them such a bad reputation.
