If you are on the dole like AIG is you should take a serious haircut, we are not talking about healthy companies.

Even the $75/hour guy that puts on hub caps for GM will have his paycheck looked at before the government bails them out. he might choose to do the job for less rather then head to Home Depot for a job if GM fails.
