Wrong, you can be worth 1 million and be on Medi Cal in California. They go by whether you are working or not. Your assets are not considered.

I was not whining about the insurance. It is very good for preventive care. I was just making the point that it is not what it lives up to be about your ability to choose a doctor and getting to see a specialist on a timely basis.

If you are worth a million dollars and not working, then you need to sell off an asset or two instead of whining about how Medi Cal isn’t working up to snuff for you.
Especially if you can afford to pay for two second opinions.
And still whine about poor people insurance while you whine about choosing doctors and seeing specialists.
That single parent slinging burgers, manning the hotel front desk or cleaning rooms, etc. feel our pain, I’m sure.
