I’ve been pointing that out for quite some time.

A whole boatload of federal corruption cases vaporized after the Supreme Court’s misguided McDonnell decision came down that basically made “official acts” so overbroad as to be meaningless as applied to corruption statutes.

Menendez is hardly the only one to benefit from the corruption cases against them going poof; politicians across the nation have benefited from this nonsense.

McDonnell is an awful decision that needs to be swept away.
