A 4-year-old boy shot his pregnant mom in the face in Seattle this weekend in what cops believe was an accident. Authorities say the boy found the handgun stuffed under a mattress Saturday afternoon—it was loaded and unsecured.

Seriously…what kind of FUCKING IDIOT leaves a GUN UNDER A MATTRESS?!

This should not be treated as an accident; it’s criminal negligence and the parents should be charged and, if convicted, serve prison time; they should at least forfeit their right to own a gun and all such weapons in their possession should be confiscated. People don’t learn from experience unless they actually are punished for their careless or criminal behavior. You would think they would learn something if they are shot or some is killed but, no, they repeat the mantra that it was an unforeseen tragedy or and act of God that no one could have predicted.
