I get pissed at some people I know who are “middle class” and begrudge those that need WIC or SNAP. They have no fucking clue.

Also, there are sooo many people who are financially illiterate. Or can not think globally (big picture).

Thus the old wingnut memes of “lazy people” works for them. The reality that two people working full-time and can qualify for assitances doesn’t compute with them. These people must be mismanaging their money or something.

These are the same people who have a gazillion dollar a month mortgages and luxury cars and can’t afford tutoring for their children or any medical procedure that isn’t covered by insurance.

Yet, they aren’t facing bankruptcy or need government handouts so they are the responsible ones.
