It’s funny how even though many on the Left feel the Citizens United, or Hobby Lobby rulings were bad, poorly reasoned decisions, I don’t hear a chorus of Lefties calling on anyone to ignore them, or claiming they’re not the law of the land. Indeed, i hear many on the Left calling for a Constitutional Amendment overturning Citizens United.

OTOH, the Right is full of calls to defy or ignore Obergefell, claiming that it’s NOT the law of the land, or offering to provide armed escort to prevent someone defying the ruling from being jailed for contempt of court, or suggesting that states secede so as not to be bound by it.

Why is that, do you suppose?
