See, as I said the other day, I’m the sort of cynic who assumes the worst so he can be surprised when it doesn’t come to pass. I intend to go forward assuming that Trump and the GOP will do their level best to fuck this country six ways to Sunday. And that at least 50% of it will make it into law. I don’t assume the world will end, that there will be a civil war, or that we’re going to become Nazi Germany. But I’m certainly prepared for those eventualities.
