They won’t be happy when it’s time to pay more in taxes, though. They might not support their GOP congressman’s reelection, for example. This is not a popular bill.

They’ll pay lip service to it, they’ll say how enthusiastic they are about the bill now that it’s signed into law, they’ll rub it in our faces… then they’ll bitch and moan come April and primary their congresscritters in the fall.
