I hate the (lack of) flavor in the vodka. I’m still willing to give it a try tonight.

Try Monopolowa. Polish potato vodka made in Austria (family escaped the Russkies).

Vodka with a taste and character. Stick it in the freezer and pour it neat. Lovely stuff. Cheap, too. No headaches.
