The passport could be a forgery, which only makes the case for the prosecutors (and adds to list of potential crimes). Or it’s legit, in which case Epstein has even more questions to answer for. The judge should rule against bail on that alone.

Right, telling the judge “That’s a fake that’s never been used!,” only for the prosecution to show the receipts is not really going to help their argument for letting him out on house arrest.
