Hearing both sides of the story is only useful if both sides are generally honest. Hearing both sides is meaningless if one side is objectively bullshitting their way through everything.

You don’t need to hear from the kids that tracked mud in the house telling you it was the dog when the dog doesn’t wear shoes the same size as the kids.
