A former student of mine who now works in Prague real estate messaged me this afternoon and she noted that there’s now over 1,000 brand-new rentals available in Prague 1 (city center, basically). They were formerly AirBnB units.
She said, “My god, AirBnB has collapsed almost overnight.”
Saw a similar thing in Krakow: lots of apartments bought up and turned into AirBnB, which effectively removed them from the housing market.
