Since you didnt like the substantive, kinda important qualities in a Sen., Franken doesnt dye his hair, he doesnt dye his skin, he doesnt use hairspray, (sorry, but all the aforementioned creep me out) he’s married to his original wife and he was willing to put his words into action and serve his country in gov., probably a huge cut in salary and working with a lot less fun people.
